Oh Ted. Did he die?
Dear DIDC Family...I am so sorry for the loss of your furry friend. You gave him a wonderful forever home while he was with you. He was one lucky Hampster/Wookiee. I know you will have many fond memories of Ted that will make you smile later on.
Ted was a shining example of all that a pet should be. He'll be missed.
Thanks everybody. Yup, he'd been failing for 4 or 5 days. Little foraging or hiding food. Mostly eat, sleep, pee and poop. He still loved the hamster ball, but it tired him out. Didn't use the wheel much except for napping. RFB and MiDC found him when they came home from little league practice last night. When I got home from tutoring, I officiated at a little memorial service. Where he's buried, we have crocuses every summer so we'll think of him (and a prior pet, a betta named Mr. Fish) nourishing the crocuses (croci?)
Aww, I'm so sorry to you and your family, especially MonkeyBoy! :-(Poor Ted.
oh, Ted. We loved you so. But I am sure he had a well loved, happy, wookie hamster life.My best to you all...
